SMS Alert Terms

These terms apply to automated text messages (SMS) sent by Service Insight, LLC ("Service Insight") from the Service Insight platform. Use of the platform is also governed by your organization's Master Subscription Agreement with Service Insight.

Program Description

Service Insight sends automated equipment alarm, warning, and notification text messages to platform users who enable Text Message alerts. Messages report conditions on the laboratory equipment and sensors your organization monitors with Service Insight, such as temperature, CO2, and sensor connectivity. Service Insight does not send marketing messages by SMS.

Opting In

Text alerts are optional and off by default. You opt in by entering your mobile number in your Service Insight profile and turning on "Receive alarms via Text Message" and/or "Receive warnings via Text Message" in your Alarm Preferences. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies with alarm activity on the equipment you monitor. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

Opting Out

You can stop text alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message or by turning off Text Message alerts in your Alarm Preferences. After you reply STOP you will receive one confirmation message and no further text alerts unless you opt in again.

Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text alerts supplement, and do not replace, the alerts available in the Service Insight platform and by email.

Privacy
